Welcome to Rent.lk (“we,” “our,” “us”). Please read these Terms of Use carefully before accessing or using our platform, including our website, mobile apps, services and tools. By using Rent.lk, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines posted on the platform.
Rent.lk acts as a facilitator that connects users offering items for rent with users seeking rentals. This includes property, vehicles, electronics, equipment and other rental categories. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee listings, items, services or transactions — users are responsible for their own due diligence.
We grant a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Rent.lk for personal, non-commercial purposes. Content you post grants Rent.lk a worldwide license to use and display that content as described in our Privacy Policy. Commercial use requires prior written permission.
Respect other users. Do not post fraudulent, defamatory, obscene or abusive content. Impersonation, harassment, price manipulation and unauthorized access or disruption of the platform are prohibited.
Rent.lk does not process payments. Users are responsible for verifying listings and providers before transacting. Never share sensitive financial information with unverified parties. Rent.lk is not liable for scams or disputes between users.
Data may be processed internationally. Users outside Sri Lanka should ensure compliance with local laws and exercise extra caution when transacting.
We may share anonymised data with partners for analytics and marketing. Rent.lk does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of third-party promotions; users must verify offers independently.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and disclose personal information. Users are responsible for protecting their account information and should contact us if they suspect unauthorised access.
Exercise caution online and during in-person meetings. Verify listings, providers and the condition of items or properties before entering into agreements. Report suspicious activity to Rent.lk.
You agree to indemnify and hold Rent.lk and its affiliates harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities or expenses arising from your use of the platform, breach of these Terms, or interactions with other users.
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". Rent.lk disclaims all warranties to the extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rent.lk is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform.
We may modify, suspend or terminate the platform or user accounts at any time. Termination does not relieve users of outstanding liabilities.
Notices will be posted on the platform and are deemed received once made available.
